According to the requirements of composting technology, add certain structural materials and auxiliary materials, such as bagasse, corn stover, etc., mix evenly, compost and ferment.(Structural materials and auxiliary materials should in principle select cheap materials on the spot under the premise of satisfying the kitchen waste pellet process, such as corn stalks, bagasse, mushroom residues, etc.)
After the first composting process, the semi-finished kitchen waste products are screened to remove impurities, and the waste materials and structural materials are separated. The waste materials are transported to the landfill, and the structured materials are sent to the designated place to air dry for use.
After fermentation and storage for a period of time, kitchen waste is crushed, and the fermented organic material is dried, crushed and sieved.
After the first fermentation, a part of easily decomposable and a large amount of difficult-to-decompose organic substances still exist, which needs to be fermented and rotted. When the temperature is stable at about 40℃, kitchen waste will reach maturity.
The purpose of crushing is to make the screening materials mixed evenly, increase the organic content of the kitchen waste, and increase the quantity of semi-finished products. The general amount of material returned to the total sieve content is as high as about 70%, which makes it best to crush before sieving. Note that kitchen waste materials often contain a certain amount of debris such as plastic, crushed stone, bones, broken porcelain pieces, ironware, and more massive structures.
The premise of pelletizing is that the humidity of the material should be controlled below 25%. Therefore, for some kitchen waste with an initial humidity of more than 25%, they should first enter the drying section, and then enter the biomass pellet mill after the drying material reaches the corresponding moisture. Of course, if the moisture content of the kitchen waste meets the requirements, this link can be omitted when designing the organic fertilizer equipment.
The main function of granulation is to make kitchen waste organic fertilizer easier to store and transport, and to adapt to the requirements of fertilizer applicators. The production capacity of the pellet mill is selected according to the existing process and the actual material quantity.
The dried kitchen waste pellets are sent to the cooling machine for cooling through the conveyor. The cooling process mainly uses the fan to send natural air into the cooling machine through the pipeline to cool the material. The exhaust gas from the chamber is treated and discharged into the atmosphere in the same way as the exhaust gas from drying.
The cooled kitchen waste pellets enter the screening section, large pellets are crushed and the sifted powder return to the granulator for re-granulation, and the finished kitchen waste pellet product enters the automatic packaging system for packaging.
Metering and packaging are a unified whole equipment, which is mainly used for measuring and packaging pellet or powder materials in kitchen waste plants. According to the technological requirements for producing kitchen waste pellet, it is best to use computer control.

The hemp pellet mills in this project were developed for top throughput capacities in compound feed pelleting, and can process even difficult-to-press raw materials which have a high fat or fiber content. The machine sets new standards in terms of efficiency and performance: substantially lower energy consumption in comparison to conventional pellet mills, production capacities of up to 20 t/h, motor ratings of 220 or 260 kW and a customer-oriented design are just some of the advantages of this RICHI machine. However, thanks to the extremely compact design, the machine takes up very little space(workshop size:16m*7m*7.5m)– it delivers twice as much capacity with the same footprint as conventional pellet mills.
