Complete Biomass Pellet Processing Process
From raw material entry to finished product exit, biomass pellet production comprises the 4 main processes below, and the process parameters of each must correspond to material properties.
RICHI begins with material analysis, defining equipment selection and control thresholds for each process based on indicators including raw material type, moisture content, bulk density, and fiber structure. Every opening and conveying path in the process design supports continuous, stable, and reproducible industrial production.

Raw Material Processing
Upon arrival, raw materials—including wood chips, straw, rice husks, and palm empty fruit bunches—undergo impurity removal, magnetic separation, and screening to eliminate stones, metals, and sand.
Subsequently, based on material characteristics such as high moisture content or excessive fiber length, materials are processed through cutting, crushing, and drying.

Pelletizing & Shaping
Materials from the pelletizing bin are fed into the pellet mill via a variable-frequency feeder.
The ring die compression ratio, die hole diameter, and roller-die clearance are pre-set according to fiber properties and target density.
Roller speed and pelletizing temperature are monitored in real time to ensure high-quality pellet formation.

Finished Pellet Processing
Freshly produced pellets are at high temperatures and require cooling, screening, and packaging.
This process reduces temperature and moisture, removes fines and unqualified particles, and guarantees consistent appearance, storage stability, and transport safety.
