Cut the alfalfa grass with too long length to meet the feeding requirements of the subsequent crushing section. This is an optional section. If the length of alfalfa material meets the requirements, there is no need to set this section. This section is also suitable for cutting all kinds of grass, hay, cereal grass, straw, wild grass, wheat straw, corn straw and other forages.
At present, many agricultural and forestry solid wastes such as alfalfa, pasture, wheat straw, straw, etc. are bundled before entering the pellet production process. Therefore, If you are in this situation,it is necessary to set up a bundle broken section to achieve continuous production and adapt to the requirements of modern industry.
Alfalfa burning pellets have strict requirements on the moisture content of the raw materials. After the raw materials are sieved, they are transported to the drum dryer through conveyor and dried by hot air.(Green dried alfalfa grass for about 2 minutes, fresh green grass for about 8 to 9 minutes)
Use the conveyor to transport the raw materials to the screening equipment to remove impurities.
The task at this stage is to further crush the alfalfa raw material into small alfalfa grass particles of 0.2-0.4.This secton required forage crusher.
This section is optional. If alfalfa grass pellets are used as animal feed, then it is necessary to premix all ingredients with a small amount of grass powder in proportion to the unit output ratio according to the grass pellet formula design requirements, and then add all the grass powder to mix and enter the next processing procedure. The raw materials are accurately weighed before mixing, and the small amount of ingredients must be pre-mixed.
The uniformly mixed alfalfa pellet raw materials enter the alfalfa pellet mill for compression. The unformed powder is returned to the powder bins for further processing. The formed alfalfa pellets enter the cooling machine. The water content of the alfalfa pellets after cooling does not exceed 13%. Because the water content is very low, it is suitable for long-term storage without mold and deterioration.
Send the formed alfalfa pellets to a cooling device to dissipate heat, cool and dry quickly, and then sent to finished products for export.
After the alfalfa pellets are cooled down, after the molded granules reach a certain hardness, they are bagged, packaged, and sewn into the warehouse for storage.It should be packed in water-impermeable plastic woven bags, and the weight deviation should not exceed 0.5% of the net weight.
It is not allowed to touch the ground directly. It is better to lay a layer of wooden shelves below. The stacking should not be too high, and the distance from the roof should not be less than 50cm. The outdoor storage should have rainproof facilities, and the rainproof cloth should be opened to dry in sunny weather.
The dust generated in the alfalfa pellet production process is recycled for granulation, reducing waste and increasing revenue.

The hemp pellet mills in this project were developed for top throughput capacities in compound feed pelleting, and can process even difficult-to-press raw materials which have a high fat or fiber content. The machine sets new standards in terms of efficiency and performance: substantially lower energy consumption in comparison to conventional pellet mills, production capacities of up to 20 t/h, motor ratings of 220 or 260 kW and a customer-oriented design are just some of the advantages of this RICHI machine. However, thanks to the extremely compact design, the machine takes up very little space(workshop size:16m*7m*7.5m)– it delivers twice as much capacity with the same footprint as conventional pellet mills.
