3. How are raw materials of different properties handled on the feed production line?
For various raw materials including grains, cake meal, forage, fish meal, oils, and micro-additives, we typically process them as follows:
First, raw materials are classified and processed based on their physical characteristics.
For example, hard materials like corn and soybean meal are first crushed to the appropriate fineness before entering the batching stage; while high-fiber materials like forage and straw undergo specialized crushing and pre-treatment to ensure subsequent pelleting quality.
During batching, the main and auxiliary materials are precisely weighed by the metering system. Micro-additives such as vitamins, amino acids, and trace elements are pre-mixed separately to avoid uneven distribution from direct addition. Liquid raw materials like oils and molasses are uniformly added during the mixing stage through a dedicated spraying or addition system.
After all raw materials are proportioned according to the formula, they enter the mixer for full agitation to ensure balanced nutrition in each batch of feed, followed by sequential processes including pelleting, cooling, and screening.
The entire process is compatible with multiple raw material combinations, ensuring stable feed quality while meeting the nutritional needs of different livestock, poultry, and aquatic animals.

- During production, we use high-precision customized ring dies to strictly control the basic pellet diameter;
- then, the pellet mill cutter shapes the pellets to precisely control their length, ensuring uniform length and consistent gloss.
- The pellets then enter the cooling system to stabilize their quality;
- finally, a grading screening system removes powder and substandard pellets, retaining only finished products that meet the 3–12 mm requirement.
