1. Can this feed pellet machine handle both 2mm starter feed and 8mm grower feed?

2. I use mixed raw materials (corn, soybean meal, bran, etc.) and change formulas often. Is the feed production machine flexible enough?
Absolutely. This machine is designed to handle a wide variety of raw materials, from corn and soybean meal to premixes and fiber.
Don’t worry about changing formulas. We allow flexible adjustments to the die clearance, feed speed, and conditioning moisture. We can fine-tune settings for different materials to keep feed pellet production running smoothly without needing to stop and change parts.
Many of our clients work with mixed ingredients and changing formulas. As long as the raw material size and moisture are right, the feed pelletizing machine runs smoothly without clogging or quality issues.
3. If I buy this feed pellet mill, can I start right away? Do I need other equipment?
It depends on how you plan to operate.
Option A:
If you buy ready-made powder and just want to pellet it, the feed pellet mill alone is enough.
We suggest adding a conveyor, though—manual feeding is tiring and inefficient. A simple conveyor saves time and labor.
If you want cleaner pellets, a sifter helps remove fines, which can then be recycled.
Option B:
If you want to make pellets from scratch using raw ingredients like corn, you will need more equipment:
- Feed Crusher: You must grind raw materials into powder before pelleting.
- Feed Mixer: You need to mix ingredients evenly; otherwise, the nutrition isn’t balanced, and animals won’t grow well.
- Feed Cooler: Fresh pellets are hot and soft. Without cooling, they will clump and mold in the bags.
- Feed Screener: Ensures a high-quality look by removing dust, and nothing goes to waste.
