Steam conditioning is a key process in pig pellet feed processing. The conditioning effect directly affects the quality of pellets and the moisture content of the finished feed. Steam quality and conditioning time are two important factors that affect the conditioning effect. In the suckling pig pellet feed production process, you can adjust or close the trap and use low-pressure steam to increase the conditioning time of the material in the conditioner to fully mix the material with the steam, so that the material can fully absorb the moisture in the steam, thereby increasing the moisture of the product.

For the ring die with relatively large compression, during the suckling pig feed pelletizing process, the friction resistance is relatively large, and the material is not easy to pass through the aperture. During the extrusion granulation, the friction temperature is high and the water loss is large, and the moisture of the feed pellets will be reduced. Generally, the suckling pig feed uses a ring die with a relatively small aperture, so choosing a ring die with a low compression ratio is beneficial to improve the quality and moisture content of the suckling pig feed pellets.

(5) When the pellets are cooled, choose the appropriate cooling air volume

The purpose of the suckling pig feed pellet cooling process is not only to reduce the temperature of the pellet feed so that it does not exceed the room temperature 3℃; it can also take away the moisture in the feed, so that the moisture of the feed product meets the specified requirements, and the finished product is set according to the moisture before the finished product is cooled.
