Our client is located in the coastal region of western France, a hub for concentrated marine fish farming. As their farming scale expanded, the old model of relying on external feed procurement began to face new challenges. The entire system was planned around core links such as raw material handling, batching and mixing, extrusion forming, and post-processing, ensuring stable operation of each section and meeting expected production targets.

Raw Material Processing System
The project primarily uses locally accessible French raw materials, including wheat, pea protein, and rapeseed meal, along with aquatic feed ingredients like fish meal and fish oil. Based on the client’s formula structure, raw materials are directed into corresponding storage and conveying systems.

Considering the particle size requirements for trout and marine fish feed, grains and plant protein are finely ground before entering the batching section to meet the needs of the subsequent extrusion process.
